Turning customer insights into meaningful engagement

Marketing graduate from George Mason University with hands-on experience in customer relationship building, sales-driven conversations, and brand experience. Currently exploring digital strategy, content, and campaign roles in the DC metro area.

About Me

I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from George Mason University’s School of Business, where I focused on consumer behavior, strategy, and business fundamentals. My professional experience has centered on high-touch customer environments — first as a Barista & Trainer at Starbucks, and currently on PNC Bank’s Mobile Regional Resource Team.

In banking I spend my days understanding customer needs, educating people on solutions, and driving product adoption through conversations rather than hard sells. Those same skills — listening, translating benefits clearly, and building trust — sit at the core of effective marketing.

I’m now looking to channel that customer-first mindset into campaign strategy, content, and digital marketing roles where I can help brands connect more meaningfully with their audiences.

Insights

Short thoughts on marketing, customer experience, and what I’m learning as I transition into the field.

Why banking trained me for marketing better than I expected

Every day on the Mobile Resource Team I practice the same muscle marketers need: understanding a person quickly, translating complex offerings into plain language, and creating a reason for them to take the next step. The best marketing doesn’t feel like marketing — it feels like help.

Consistency beats creativity when you’re starting out

At Starbucks we didn’t reinvent the brand every shift. We delivered the same experience reliably. That lesson applies directly to content and campaigns: a clear, repeatable system often outperforms one-off brilliant ideas — especially for small teams and early-career marketers.

Local brands still win with genuine connection

In Northern Virginia, the businesses that stand out aren’t always the ones with the biggest ad budgets. They’re the ones that know their regulars and show up consistently online. That’s the opportunity I’m most excited to help brands capture.
